Felix Hernandez, who won the 2010 AL Cy Young Award, finished with a 5.55 ERA. The 32-years-old right hander pitched IP 4.0, allowing five runs – four earned – three hits and two walks today.

Hisashi Iwakuma, Japanese right hander, was back on the mound at @SafecoField, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch with catcher Ichiro Suzuki. The 37-year-old right-hander returns to his own country, Japan although attempted to come back from right shoulder surgery last September.
